  • What happens if the sun does not heat the water to the required temperature, or if other people run out of hot water and I want to bathe afterwards?

    Solesyto 2024 Modelo Híbrido es un equipo que sustituye completamente al boiler y su fuente de energía primaria es la radiación solar, pero si por alguna alguna razón (días excesivamente fríos o nublados) no alcanza la temperatura deseada, posee un respaldo eléctrico que garantiza 24/7 el suministro de agua caliente.

  • How much will I save on gas?

    The amount of savings depends on the method you use to heat your water and the number of people living in the house. If you have a gas boiler with a pilot flame always working, you will see an excellent decrease in consumption by multiplying the life of the gas cylinder up to 3 times .

  • Can I leave the gas heater installed for cases where there is not enough sun?

    No, cuando se trate de calentadores de gas de depósito o de rápida recuperación, pues perderías una gran parte del ahorro de gas por la flama piloto, ya que ésta continuaría encendida durante todo el tiempo.  En caso de calentadores de gas instantáneos, Solesyto puede ser instalado en serie como precalentador solar con este tipo de  calentadores  que no tienen flama piloto.

  • Is there equipment for houses with more inhabitants, such as 6 or 8?

    Yes, the Solesyto Hybrid Model is only manufactured with a capacity of 80 liters and is ideal for homes with 1 to 4 people. However, when more capacity is required, it is easy to install several Solesytos in combos, either in series with the Low Pressure Solar Model or in parallel with several Solesytos Hybrid Model.

  • The Solesyto 2023 Hybrid and Low Pressure Solar Models include the "GrynShower" showerhead in the price, what happens if I don't install it?

    This shower head guarantees a controlled water flow of 4 l/minute which is sufficient for a good bath. If not installed, the amount of water that will be consumed will be higher than the mentioned volume, reducing shower time and/or water temperature. In addition, the use of this shower head will give an extra saving in consumption and cost of hot water of up to 50%.

  • What happens if I install the Solesyto and the base of the tank does not have the required minimum height of 80cm?

    En ese caso el equipo no se llenaría completamente de agua, debido a que funciona por gravedad. Esto disminuiría considerablemente su eficiencia de calentamiento solar, y si la resistencia eléctrica del Solesyto 2024 Modelo Híbrido opera con el equipo vacío, provocará un daño irreversible al boiler.

    On the other hand, if the tank is emptied, air can enter the pipe and block the hot water from flowing out of the shower. Finally, if the Solesyto is left empty, it can be damaged if it is moved by a strong wind. All these consequences are not covered by the warranty.

  • What is the price of the 80 litre Solesyto?

    The Solesyto 2023 Hybrid Model is the same price as it would cost to buy an 80-liter tank gas boiler from a reputable retailer.

  • Can the Solesyto work when my house has pressure from a pump, from the street, etc. and does it work with a filter?

    Si deseas mejorar la presión del agua de tu tinaco, el Solesyto 2024 Modelo Híbrido está diseñado para trabajar con Presurizadores Automáticos de hasta 1/6 Hp en la salida del agua caliente. Si deseas instalar un filtro para reducir la dureza del agua, deberá colocarse a la entrada del tinaco (no en la entrada o salida de agua del Solesyto).

    Si tienes ya instalado un sistema de hidroneumático sin tinaco o recibes directamente el agua desde la calle sin tinaco, podrás utilizar el Solesyto 2024 Modelo Solar para Alta Presión hasta una presión máxima de trabajo de 3 kgf/cm2.

  • What is the power consumption of the Solesyto backup?

    The equipment consumes 1500 W/H ( 12A at 127V) while connected. The following graph shows a comparison of the average monthly electricity consumption of other electrical appliances compared to a Solesyto that uses its electrical backup 1 hour a day for 5 days a week:

    En el caso de climas fríos te recomendamos una instalación en combo de un Solesyto 2024 Modelo Solar que cuenta con un tanque de 80 litros aislado conectado en serie con un Solesyto 2024 Modelo Híbrido que actuará como sistema de respaldo cuando se acabe el agua caliente del Solesyto Modelos Solar y que eliminará la necesidad de usar un boiler de gas o eléctrico como sistema de respaldo.
